Customizable itinerary
Spend 7 days to discover a different side of Bali and the Gili islands! In Bali, you will visit some of its best-known temples and Candidasa – a seaside town famous for its incredible marine life and a snorkeling destination. As you travel to Nusa Penida, you can see its famous Kelingking beach and the giant manta rays playing in the turquoise water. On the Gili islands, you will have ample time to enjoy the laidback atmosphere and some of Indonesia’s most pristine beaches and diverse underwater life. Afterward, return to Bali, here you can explore Uluwatu temple and watch as the kecak dance performance takes place at the temple entrance.
A warm greeting awaits at Bali International Airport; your private guide and driver will meet you in the arrivals lounge and drive you directly to your hotel. Your knowledgeable guide will be happy to answer any questions along the way and will assist you with check-in and registration at the hotel.
After a short rest, we’ll drive from the south of Bali to Candidasa. Relatively unknown a decade ago, Candidasa is now a popular retreat destination that has managed to retain its village identity. Highlight activities include snorkeling, scuba diving and excursions to the seaward temple of Candidasa. The panorama encompassing islets to the left, Nusa Penida directly ahead and the headland to the right is easy to admire, with most of the hotels and resorts facing directly out to the sea. Staying here means you will lose less time if you venture out to some traditional focal points of East Bali. Then there are some interesting, off-the-beaten-tracks to be followed in this part of the island, through salak plantations and forgotten villages.

We’ll driver further east. Your first stop will be Tirtagangga, surrounded by arguably the most beautiful rice fields of Bali. In the center of Karangasem, you can visit the city palace of the same raja’s. Before returning to your hotel, you will visit a remarkable village.
Meals: (Breakfast/Lunch/_)

Snorkeling in Nusa Lembongan or Nusa Penida to admire colorful coral reefs and fishes. In certain spots on Nusa Penida, manta rays can be seen regularly, all year round. Snorkeling allows you to see a lot of marine life, but with diving, you can discover even more of the underwater world.
Meals: (Breakfast/_/_)

Drive a short distance to Padangbai, a mere small cove with a white sandy beach, lined with fishing boats. It used to be the old port to Lombok. A speed boat will take you straight to Trawangan, one of the 3 tiny islands in front of the northwest coast of Lombok. There are no motorcycles or cars on the island. Superb white sandy beaches, clear water, colored fish, beautiful coral reefs add to a great laidback atmosphere of this tiny tropical paradise. The rest of the day you will be free to explore the magnificent surroundings.
Meals: (Breakfast/_/_)

You’ll have ample time for beach activities or snorkeling. Get on a glass-bottom boat and travel slowly from one island to the other. You may stop as often as you like to snorkel or swim, perhaps even among large sea turtles.
Meals: (Breakfast/Lunch/_)

Today you will travel to the “mainland” of Lombok for your return flight to Bali. Arrive in Bali in the late afternoon and enjoy leisure lunch before heading to Uluwatu.
We’ll drive to one of Bali’s holiest and most important temples, Pura Luhur Uluwatu, located in a picturesque place on the southwestern coast of the island, on top of a cliff hanging over the ocean. In addition to a marvelous location, in the evenings in front of the entrance to the temple, you can watch the Kecak dance performance.
Meals: (Breakfast/_/_)

Free at your leisure to enjoy the resort’s facilities or more exploration until departure time, meet your guide at the hotel lobby for your transfer service back to Denpasar airport. End of services.

Wisconsin, USALam did an amazing job putting together an itinerary based on phone/text conversations. We told him the where and what and he did the rest. The accommodations were beyond expectation, the guides were unbelievably friendly, and the places we were taken were spectacular. Having guides and drivers is worth every penny. So much time and money would have been wasted had we tried to accomplish this ourselves.
We got to experience so much more because of our guides local knowledge. Lastly, how great it was not to worry about how we were getting to the next adventure. Had we not used Indochina Pioneer I truly believe I wouldn’t have as many astonishing memories.

USAIf you are looking for a private tour of SE Asia, look no further than Indochina Pioneer. I recently returned from a 30-day private tour of Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand all arranged by Indochina Pioneer and could not have been happier with everything they arranged for me. They are top-notch from working directly with you on planning your trip, arranging visas, having individuals at the airports to meet and walk you through everything when entering the countries, having amazing tour guides and drivers as well as organizing everything for you on the ground and being there to help you all along the way if you have any questions or problems. My tour was amazing with not only the normal tourist sights, but many off the beaten track sights and with your own guides, you learn so much more from these individuals who actually live in the places you will visit. I can’t recommend this tour agency enough. If you are looking to travel to any of the locations Indochina Pioneer has tours, you must book through them, you will not be disappointed.

SpainWe had 21 days on a private tour and every detail was perfectly arranged. Perhaps, the Spanish speaking skills of guides can ve improved, but overall they were very helpful and committed with their job. I want to highlight the performance of Juan (Hanoi), Miguel (Hoi An), Chao (Ho Chi Minh City) and La (Luang Prabang, Laos).
Hotels were as we asked and the timing for the visits was very good.
I recommend this travel agency!
