"We will come back again. Thank you!"

Hi Ruby,

Thanks so much for your kind words. the review on TripAdvisor was exactly how I felt. Everything was great and we enjoyed every single moment. Tan is a wonderful guide and my girls really loved him as did my wife and I. I hope I will come back to Vietnam one day and when I do, you will be my choice of tour operator of that I am sure.

Best regards,

Doron.

"Such a great trip!"

Hi Ms. Ruby,

I am doing well. It took a while to get back to norm as jet lag is no joke.

The trip was amazing and went by so quickly. It seems that we planned for a very long time. Thank you for all that you did to make sure that we had a wonderful time. I plan to return to Asia with my son when he graduates college next year. We were thinking Thailand and Laos. I will definitely look to you to plan the trip for us.

Yes, I have photos; I will look for a few to send to you over the weekend. I have told so many people already about how well you prepared our trip and I hope that my friends use your company if they chose to visit Asia.

Be well and you will hear from me in the near future.

Dear Ruby (Ms),

Yes! Our trip was wonderful, very interesting. We loved it!.

The best thing about this journey was the people of Vietnam and Cambodia we met. This was the biggest asset for this trip. Everyone was so helpful, friendly and courteous that we were amazed. This does not happen in Europe.
Second was your personal input into it. We always felt cared for by you, concerned about our health and happiness. You are great at this job.

A few comments about our experience:

Hotels: All hotels were great but best were Hanoi Elegance Diamond Hotel (friendly people, excellent restaurant) and Ancient House Village and Spa in Hoi An (fantastic room and environment).
Best trip: Halong Bay, it was not just amazing, the food and spa on board were incredible.
Best guide: The person in Saigon.
Best driver: The person in Siem Reap.
Things to de-emphasize: The street food experience. It is highly interesting to see it but for occidentals (so worried about sanitary conditions and fear of trip-ruining gastrointestinal problems) it is doubtful they will participate in the tasting. The Kim Bong Carpentry Village visit was not remarkable. Finally, just a visit to a one totally ruined temple in Siem Reap should suffice.

In any event, this trip was great and I will highly recommend you to our friends over here. I am grateful to you for your professionalism and care.

Sincerely,
Pedro and Teresa Cortes

"We had an extraordinary time thanks to you"

Hi Ruby,

We had an extraordinary time thanks to you! We loved the hiking, biking, elephant camp, caves and market. The guides were wonderful and very very helpful. We don’t have any suggestions on how it could have been better, because it was everything we expected and more.
In September we will be going to China for two weeks. Do you provide services for China?

"Thank you"

Dear Ruby
Thanks for a wonderful holiday.

We both thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of it and feel as though we have left Vietnam and Cambodia enriched with the culture, history and knowledge of the people and the way they live.

All this resulted from your meticulous organisation and planning enabling the whole trip to proceed without any problems.

Your personal approach in meeting us in Hanoi and, of course, through to the numerous phone calls ensuring our satisfaction throughout the trip was much appreciated.

Also we felt comfortable with your selection of guides and drivers. The guides in particular expressed a deep feeling for their respective countries and the history as dramatic as it was in both countries due to the ravage of war and the deplorable killings in Phnom Penh.

Once again, thanks very much for everything including your generous provision of a meal in Siem Reap.

If there are any matters outstanding, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Sincere regards
Marcia and Kevin

"The trip of a lifetime!"

Thank you so much Ruby, it was truly the trip of a lifetime. From start to finish it was a new adventure every day, and our guides and drivers were the best, professional, kind, caring and truly gave us a glimpse of life in all the countries visited.

My dream is to go back, hopefully with my 2 sons. I also have a brother who is going to be living in Indonesia for 2 years and will give him your name, as he would like to visit Vietnam and Cambodia and Laos once he is living there.
So you never know I may well end up in that part of the world again. Fingers crossed!
Everyone was just so lovely, you have a beautiful country and exceptional people.

Thank you for making it so special, and we loved our lunch in Hanoi and being able to meet you.

Hope to see you again someday.

Thank you , thank you

"Thank you for making our trip so special!"

Dear Ruby ,

I wanted to thank you for all the hard work you put in to make our trip so special .

It could not have been better and you thought of everything to make our stay in your wonderful country and in Cambodia so enjoyable and also educational .

The tour guides and drivers were all courteous, informative as well as being genuinely nice people and we came away with valuable knowledge about many aspects of the life and history of the two countries.

I will recommend to all my friends that they come here and book through Indochina Pioneer .

We will be sad to leave but have so many great memories to cherish and thousands of photos !

With my thanks and very best wishes.

"We couldn’t have been happier!!!"

Ruby, we absolutely loved our holiday with you. Could not have been happier. We have already mentioned your name to a number of people and are really happy to recommend you to others.
Ietnam is definitely in our list and you will be the first ( and only) port of call when we start planning that holiday.

Some specific feedback:
Yangon- hotel was awesome. Great character and the best breakfasts on our holiday. Our guide there was brilliant. Very he
PCI. And went out of his way to help us.
Bagan – hotel was great excellent location. Activities were also perfect, high, isn’t being the horse and cart ride. We went to a restaurant – I think it was the moon- a. Vegetarian restaurant for lunch and that was probably our best food in Laos, with great gardens and great feel to it. Our guide in Bagan was not as good as our other guides. She was a nice lady, and did her job, but only answered questions or gave us information when we asked. Her name was Pan and I do t think she was the one you planned for us because our itinerary said it was a male guide. She wasn’t bad, but not as good as the others.
Kalaw and Inle – our guide here, DaDa, was excellent. A real sweetheart to went out of her way to help. Very friendly and great to spend time with. Excellent t job. All of the activities in this part of the trip were exceptional. The hotel in Kalaw was also a highlight.
Trek- MooMoo, our guide did an awesome job. Suggest you use him for trekking whenever you can. Brilliant. Went out of his way to help. The trek was exactly what we over isn’t stay in the village was also great. Gave us a real taste of local life.
Mandalay- what an end to our trip. Norah is definitely an old hand at this. Suggested other highlights and took us there. She even told us of lots of extra things we could do if we ever came to Mandalay again- and described her in a way that made us wish we were spending g some more time in Mandalay. Excellent job. The Bagan King hotel was also a great place to spend our last days- so many little extras in the hotel like the free cocktails and the puppet show and the local music.

All up, a great holiday, well organised, great accommodation and fabulous activities. Thank you so much for arranging for us..

"Vietnam Trip"

Hi Ruby
Thank you for the fantastic trip which was so well-organised it went without a hitch. It was pretty full on fitting in everything we did and all the places we visited, which we couldn’t have done without your good planning. I found Vietnam very interesting – what a history! – and it is great to see all the development taking place. I especially enjoyed Sapa, Halong Bay and Hoi An. I would love to return one day to these places and others I didn’t see – at a more leisurely pace. The guides were all good but especially Tony in Hanoi and the northern areas, and while I only had one day with Lin on the tour to the Mekong Delta she was also very good. Tony and Lin were both very helpful and informative on a lot of different things.

We unfortunately had very hot weather while we were there (the hottest 2 weeks of the year I’ve heard), so I’d definitely come back at a cooler time next time. It made some of the touring very uncomfortable, especially the walk in Sapa (which I thought we had shortened from the original 12 kms but turned out to be almost that long) in the middle of the day, and the bicycle riding in Hoi An – both enjoyable but hot! (I actually took a motorbike for the last couple of kms of the walk because I was so hot – Marian soldiered on!)
I guess the heat and also the tipping would be the only things we found hard. Australia is not a tipping country so we find it tricky. Perhaps walks etc should be scheduled early in the day at that time of the year.

But anyway, yes, I would definitely recommend your company to anyone going to Vietnam, and if I return I will certainly contact you. I’m sure Marian will send you her own feedback. This is just mine.
It was great to meet you in Hanoi and thanks for the beautiful gift. We bought some other lovely mementos along the way. I’ve attached a couple of my favourite photos, including ones of the guides. (Unfortunately my little camera didn’t do justice to Halong Bay!)
Thanks again!
Kind regards,

Kathy Connolly
