Day 1:   Hanoi - Cuc Phuong National Park
Day 2:   Cuc Phuong National Park - Bird watching
Day 3:   Cuc Phuong National Park - Bird watching
Day 4:   Cuc Phuong – Hanoi

DETAILED ITINERARY
 
Day 1: Hanoi - Cuc Phuong National Park (L, D)
You are picked up at your hotel and depart for a three hour - drive to Cuc Phuong National Park, located 120km south of Hanoi. Established in 1962, Cuc Phuong is the oldest national park in Vietnam. Here it boasts engaging cultural and wildlife heritage and enchanting scenery.

Upon arrival we check into our hotel. We then head out to visit the Park Museum, the Botanical Garden and looking out and the Endangered Primate Rescue Centre. Later in the afternoon we take a short walk in to the lush rain forest to observe the birds gathering.
Overnight in National Park

Day 2: Cuc Phuong National Park - Bird watching (B, L, D)
Rising to the sound of the natural reserve, we set off for a soft trek through the lush rainforest that winds our way up the park. The trek will take in stops at centuries old giant trees. During our 20 km walking journey, we have plenty of opportunities to observe and take photos of variety of preserved bird species in the park and enjoy the sights and sounds of the jungle. Stop en route for a simple picnic lunch before we continue walking to Bong village where Muong minority people inhabited. We arrive at a local family where we are provided simple bedding. Check in and relax till dinner. Overnight at local home stay.

Day 3: Cuc Phuong National Park - Bird watching (B, L, D)
Another day for bird watching activities. We start from the Bong Station, and then follow a circular route viewing a variety of endangered bird species. The 6-km trail passes through a giant tree, the so called Tro Chi which has been over 1000 years old. Spend the rest of the day for our last chances of bird watching. Return to homestay  in late afternoon.

Day 4: Cuc Phuong - Hanoi (B, L)
After a late breakfast, we check out of our hotel, bid a farewell to the Natural Reserve and drive back to Hanoi. Arrive in Hanoi in the afternoon. End of our service.
