This was a great trip, fast moving but really interesting and full of wonderful experiences. We saw places we would never had visited without the expertise of Indochina Pioneer. The country is varied  and the experiences we had moved meand was life changing. Our tour guide Dan  was a warm and perceptive person with a cheeky sense of humour and was liked by all. He was always cheerful and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Again, this trip was fantastic, one of the best holidays I have been on.

In the morning:

8:00am: Depart your hotel. The two hour drive in the morning takes you to one of the best-known Bhudism site Chua Huong (Perfume Pagoda). The journey is continued with our 1 hour rowing-boat ride on Suoi Yen (Yen stream).

The challenges start when we disembark the sampan to start our trek up the mountain. This strenuous conquer will take us about 1 hour and a half for the top of the mountain where original Chua Huong (Huong Pagoda) was set up inside Huong Tich cave for hundreds of years. There is rumor that those who are barren can pray to have a boy or a girl at Nui Co and Nui Cau (the two stalagmites standing for BOY and GIRL inside Huong Tich cave).

In the afternoon:

We trek down hill for lunch at the bottom of the mountain. Certainly we can have option of taking trams (cable-car) on the way up OR on the way down. We offer 1 way only for your fun of trekking and enjoying the rewarding scenery while walking up hill.

After lunch we visit the closed-by Thien Tru pagoda and take the sampan back to the car for our drive back to Hanoi. The trip concludes at the hotel at around 6.30 pm.
