DETAILED ITINERARY

Day 1: Arrive Phnom Penh

After your arrival in Phnom Penh you are transferred to your hotel and then you'll be able to explore the city at leisure.

Day 2: Phnom Penh City tour (B)

Today you'll enjoy a tour of this beautiful city. In the morning we'll visit the National Museum, the Royal Palace and the Silver Pagoda. In the afternoon we'll enjoy the Touesleng Museum and the Watt Phnom. And we'll have time to visit the famous Russian Market, a joy for bargain hunters looking to purchase unique souvenirs.

Day 3: Phnom Penh – Fly to Siem Reap (B)

In the morning we take a short flight to Siem Reap. After you are transferred to your hotel and check in, the rest of the morning is yours to enjoy as you wish. In the afternoon we'll visit the oldest Rolous group of temples, the Preah Ko, Bakong and Lolei temples.

Day 4: Siem Reap/ Angkor Wat (B, L)

Today we'll get up early to view the wonderful sunrise at Angkor Wat. We'll spend the morning exploring Angkor Thom, the site of the ancient capital of the Khmer period. We'll see the South Gate, Bayon, the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Elephant Terrace and the Terrace of Leper King. Then we'll visit Ta Prohm, which many consider to be the most charming of all the temples. The whole afternoon will be spent exploring the main Angkor Watt Temple, full of amazing artifacts from numerous eras and bearing the stamp of thousands of workers and artisans.

Day 5: Siem Reap - Tonle Sap Lake (B, L)

This morning we take a boat trip on the Tonle Sap Lake to see the ancient way of life on the water. Then you'll have time to shop in the Old Market where you can buy a variety of unique wares. In the afternoon, we’ll take a 45 minute drive through beautiful countryside to visit Bantaey Srei and Bantaey Kdei. Many consider Bantaey Srei to be the prettiest temple in Cambodia. Finally, we'll view the stunning sunset over Pre Rup temple, a beautiful way to end the day.

Day 6: Departure (B)

The day is yours to enjoy at leisure until departure.
