BRIEF ITINERARY

Day 1 :   Hanoi – Train to Sapa
Day 2 : Sapa Arrival

Day 6 : 2900m- Tran Ton – Sapa - Hanoi

DETAILED ITINERARY

Day 1: Hanoi - Sapa
This evening we take the overnight train from Hanoi to Lao Cai near the Chinese border.

Day 2: Sapa (B, L)
Upon arrival at Lao Cai station, we drive the 35kms ascending to Sapa. Note: Check into room is up to hotel availability. Having breakfast in our hotel and the rest of morning will be free to walk around this former French hill station town. This afternoon we will warm up ourselves by walking up Ham Rong Mountain for some good panoramic views of Sapa town and the surrounding valleys. Local markets can be also visited. We spend the night in our Hotel.
Overnight in Sapa

Day 3: Sapa – Cat Cat – 2300m (L, D)

After breakfast in hotel, we will be transferred by car mostly downhill toward Cat Cat village of Black Hmong minority, which locates right at the foot of Hoang Lien mountain range. From here we will start heading up the mountain. After a couple of hours of hiking, we stop for lunch nearby a river. After lunchtime, we climb toward the campsite at 2300m ASL. Here you spend a night in tents. We can stretch our legs by taking a short walk around while our guide and porters will prepare our dinner. Overnight in tents (Approx: 15 minutes driving/ 6 hours trekking/ 1 hour lunch)

Day 4: 2300m - 2700m - 2900m - 2600m (B, L, D)

Today’s trek will continue as soon as we finish breakfast. We trek deep into the mountains and the wild nature. We will spend some times for lunch by mid-day. In the afternoon, we ascend toward the peak of 2900m ASL before descending to the campsite, which locates at 2600m ASL. Here we will spend another night in tent before climbing to the top of Fansipan.

Overnight in tents (Approx: 6 hours trekking/ 1 hour lunch).

Day 5: 2006m – the top of Fansipan – 2900m (B, L, D)

Today we head to the top of Fasipan, which is the highest peak of Indochina. After a couple of hours of trekking, we get to the Peak. From here we can enjoy the best view to beautiful sceneries and celebrate your victory. You will then descend to a nice spot for lunch. Descend again until we arrive in the campsite, which locates at 2900m ASL. Our last night in the

mountain will be spent in tents
Overnight in tent (Approx: 6 hours trekking/ 1 hour lunch).

Day 6: 2900m – Tram Ton – Sapa (B , L)

Today’s trek will be soft compared to the others. Morning rises, putting down the tents, we start descending the mountains. We will follow trails and steps built of stone by Hoang Lien National Park. Stop en route for lunch before heading out the mountains.

Afternoon, we arrive at Tram Ton where our driver will take us back to Sapa after the big loop in the mountains. This evening we will return by road to Lao Cai for the overnight return train journey to Hanoi.
Approx: 40 minutes driving/ 4 hours trekking/ 1 hour lunch.

Day 7: Arrive Hanoi

Upon arrival at Hanoi Station, transfer to our hotel. End of our service
